The organ sparing approach to tumor treatment represents a challenge to every clinical oncologist concerned with the quality of patients life. With modern understanding of tumor biology, the possibility to devise an efficient combined modality treatment with cytotoxic drugs, radiotherapy and surgery becomes ever more likely. This symposium is intended to promote the exchange of experience gathered in this field by various clinical oncologists.

In the case of the treatment with fixed hexagonal geometry electrodes, the decrease in perfusion was less pronounced compared to the treatment with variable linear geometry

Local tumor treatment in combination with systemic ipi- limumab immunotherapy prolongs overall survival in patients with advanced malignant melanoma. Electrochemotherapy with

Survival rates were calculated by using the Kaplan–Meier method and were stratified for gender, tumor location, tumor size ( [ 2 cm), the number of ablation probes ( [ 3),

Clinical cases differ from patient to patient in tumor size, tumor location, breast density, and dielectric properties of the tissues of interest; therefore, it was our purpose

Due to the absence of the side effects and the first complete destruction of the treated tumor, treatment procedure for electrochemotherapy seems to be a safe method for treatment

To assess the robustness of the presented treatment plan, we used the same numerical model as in the treatment planning and calculated the volume of tumor covered with an electric
